Southwestern Turkey Burgers



Ingredients:

1 lb ground turkey (should include some dark meat, not breast-only)
1/4 cup frozen corn kernels
2 chipotles, chopped fine (or 1/2 tsp chipotle chile powder)
3/4 TBS chile powder
1 garlic cloved, pressed or finely minced
1 tsp kosher salt (optional)
1/2 tsp ground cumin

Mix all ingredients together just until combined. Make into 4 patties. With fingertip or thumb, make a shallow indentation about 1 inch wide in each burger, so center is about 1/2 inch thick. Grill burgers over direct heat until cooked through (about 15 minutes). Serve on whole wheat buns, and accompany with Carrot and Radish Salad.
