Welcome!!

Welcome to the Come Into My Kitchen cooking blog! We will be using this page to add recipes, stories, comments, and more. As with any blog, this will be a work in progress, which we have started by moving  our previous cooking columns to this new format. We have placed the introductions to our columns on the right hand Categories menu under “Discussions” subheading – these also are linked to the recipes. We have also put an index to all of the recipes under the “Recipes” link. Anyone is free to read the blog, but if you want to contribute to the discussion, you will need to register. (Note: As a matter of policy, we will never share email addresses or names with any third parties. There are no emails sent from this site. Also, there is no charge to register.) We hope you will join us in our conversations about cooking and recipes!

I just tried the Black Bean and Kielbasa Chili recipe, and it’s to die for!!!! While preparing it, the quantity of spices gave me pause, but I forged ahead. It’s a good thing, too…I’d forgotten how much seasoning black beans can absorb. The end result was tangy and rich with flavor without overpowering. The sour cream when serving is the perfect finishing touch.
